Nelis Britz the firm’s founder passed away in 2021. His memory lives on in his family and this firm. We dedicated this page to him so that all who loved and remembers him can celebrate his wonderful legacy.
Nelis was an attorney and conveyancer, a property law specialist who also had experience in Civil Litigation. He served his articles at a prominent Pretoria firm and he was admitted as an attorney of the High Court in 1987 after obtaining both his LLB and BLC degrees from the University of Pretoria in 1984.
Nelis relocated to Polokwane and practiced as a partner in a firm until 2016 when he founded his own practice. Born in Mokopane, he was an avid golfer (something he shared with all three of his sons) and wildlife enthusiast who enjoys spending time outdoors with his loving wife, Lynn.
The absence of Nelis can still be felt in the community and the office. He was a joyous man, always ready with a joke. He knew how to help clients feel at ease and he helped guide them through their difficulties. He was a force to be reckoned with in court and a gentleman in every situation. Nelis served the community, his firm, and his family with integrity, dedication, and humility. Nelis was a loyal friend, loving father, and devoted husband.
He loved God, he loved his family and he loved this firm.
